NEW JUNIOR CLUB - REGISTRATION INFORMATION


HOW TO START A NEW JUNIOR'S CLUB

 

Step 1 - Complete the Online Registration process for the Club Director(s)...including the background screening form.  CLICK HERE  (Online Registration instructions HERE.)

 

Step 2 - Complete the online CLUB INFORMATION FORM.

 

Step 3 - Pay the $100 new club fee via PayPal.  (You will be directed to this page once you complete Step 2.)

 

Step 4 - Fax the signed membership form along with the background screening form to the Region Office at (352) 742-0088. 

 

Step 5 - Once payment and the signed forms are received...your club will be listed on the Junior Club Directory of the Region website and you will receive your copy of the Junior Club Handbook.

 

 

After your club is registered with the Florida Region you will need to make sure you take the following steps to keep your club in good standing:

  • Register and background screen all coaches & chaperones prior to any tryouts or any contact with junior players.

  • Instruct your members to also register online prior to participating in any USAV events so that they will be covered by the USA Volleyball insurance.

  • Sanction your tryouts (and any activities/events) with the Florida Region. 

  • Request a certificate of insurance for your practice & playing facilities. 

Important Note:  The Club Directors of the Florida Region meet once a year (November) for the Junior Forum (JF).  The November meeting takes place the day after the Girl's High School Volleyball Finals.  Make plans to attend this meeting to represent your club.  (The dates and times will be posted on the Juniors Page of the Region website.)
